Great Lakes Basin Railroad
Great Lakes Basin Transportation, Inc. proposes to construct a new railroad line around the metropolitan Chicago area. The purpose of the new railroad is to expedite freight movements across the nation and to provide additional capacity for growing railroad traffic.
On May 1, 2017, GLBT filed its formal application with the Surface Transportation Board to construct and operate a railroad line in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
